Saudi sponsors two girls after medical error left her with perforated uterus

Abu Dhabi: Saudi teacher Jamila did not give in to the despair of starting a family and raising children after a medical error that prevented her pregnancy, as she went to an orphanage and sponsored two daughters, in keeping with her father’s will and his encouragement.

She revealed to a TV show the details of the surgery she underwent in a private hospital, which left her with a perforated uterus.

To secure the future of the two orphans, the teacher said she sold her inheritance from her father and took a loan of half a million riyals to build a house for them.

The teacher, now repaying the loan from her salary at the rate of 7,000 riyals per month, stressed the two girls, Jasmine and Al Ward, are her soul and all her life.
