Dubai: The Saudi Royal Court announced that Princess Dalal bint Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had passed away, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a statement issued last night, the court said that the funeral prayer will be performed on Monday after Al Asr prayer at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.
Princess Dalal passed away at the age of 65 after a battle with cancer. She was born in 1957 in Riyadh, and her father had been crowned King of Saudi Arabia years before her birth, and later became one of his closest daughters.
Princess Dalal was one of the daughters of King Saud bin Abdul Aziz from his wife Turkiah bint Mohammad bin Abdulaziz, and her father was the second king of Saudi Arabia, after he succeeded the founder of the kingdom.
