Service allows Muslims to apply for Umrah visas, travel packages without intermediaries
Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Wednesday unveiled a new digital service, “Nusuk Umrah,” enabling Muslims outside the Kingdom to apply directly for Umrah visas and book their pilgrimage services electronically through the platform (umrah.nusuk.sa), eliminating the need for intermediaries.
The service offers a comprehensive suite of options, allowing pilgrims to choose integrated packages or select individual services such as visas, accommodation, transportation, cultural tours, and support services. Users can also customise packages to meet their specific needs.
According to the ministry, the platform features a modern, multilingual interface in seven languages and is fully integrated with relevant government systems to ensure a seamless digital experience.
'Nusuk Umrah' provides multiple payment options and covers all stages from application to visa issuance, the ministry said, underscoring its role in facilitating a smoother pilgrimage journey. The initiative is also aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to enhance service quality and accommodate growing numbers of Muslims performing Umrah in safety and ease.
