Suspect reportedly boasts about offence, posts insulting tags on social media

Abu Dhabi: Saudi prosecutors are questioning a Saudi man who allegedly defaced the walls of a number of public properties with insulting graffiti, local media reported.

The suspect reportedly boasted about the offence and published the insulting tags on social media, prosecutors said.

The prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation and the suspect was found to have a criminal record, a prosecutor said.

The man was held in custody pending trial.
