Five suspected of involvement, value of items estimated at SR300,000

Cairo: Saudi police had arrested a five-member gang suspected of involvement in stealing tyres of parked cars in the capital Riyadh, a security official has said.
The suspects comprise a Saudi citizen and four illegal expatriates: two Palestinians, a Syrian and a Yemeni, assistant spokesman for the Riyadh police Major Khaled Al Karidis added.

They used to store theminside a warehouse operated by one of them in the district of Al Gharabi in central Riyadh before selling them.
The stolen tyres were retrieved and returned to their owners, he added.
The value of items was estimated at SR300,000. “They were arrested and legal procedures have been taken to refer them to public prosecution,” the official added.
