    Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, tweeted: "In six decades, @DXB Airport rose from being a modest runway with a small building, to ranking 1st as the world’s busiest hub by international passenger traffic, serving 1.1 billion passengers since 1960."     Sheikh Hamdan posted a collage of photos showing him and Sheikh Mohammed at DXB onto his Twitter page and wrote on the occasion: “On DXB’s’s 60th anniversary, we congratulate the @DubaiAirports team, led by @HHAhmedBinSaeed for a journey that started from a desert to embrace the clouds through world-leading airline, @Emirates.
