Dubai: Qatar today announced 227 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the overall number of infections in the country to 125,097.
No new fatalities have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s death tally at 214, the Ministry of Public Health said during its daily update on coronavirus.
The ministry also announced that 214 infected people have fully recovered, pushing the total recoveries to 122,209.
Active cases are now 2,888, including 437 that are critical and 55 seriously ill and still receiving intensive care.
An additional 4,658 people have taken PCR tests during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 764,925.
