Qatar denies social media rumours that education will continue to remain online

Dubai: The Qatari Ministry of Education and Higher Education has denied what is being circulated on social media platforms about various likely scenarios for the next academic year in light of the continued COVID-19 pandemic.

In a tweet, the ministry said that the information was incorrect and baseless.

In light of the coronavirus crisis, some people on social media started posting information that education, in the next academic year, will continue to be online, while some others published that it will be back to schools.

The ministry stressed that it has not issued any news regarding this and information should be obtained only from official sources.
