Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 229 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 123,146.
Meanwhile, 267 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 120,089, leaving 2,848 active cases under treatment

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.
The overall death toll remains the same (209) as no new deaths were reported over the past 24 hours.
The ministry conducted 4,874 tests in the last 24 hours, taking the total tests done so far to 719,057 tests. There are 40 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total patients in the hospital to 414.
Five patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 58.
