COVID-19: Qatar records 216 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: Qatar today recorded 216 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 110,419.

No new fatalities have been reported, keeping the country’s death tally at 177, according to the latest coronavirus update announced by the Ministry of Public health.

A total of 252 recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of recovered cases to 108,254.

The ministry conducted 2,356 people have been tested for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of people tested to 505,148.

There are 3,107 active cases, including 390 critical and 73 serious cases under intensive care.
