Qaboos gets invitation to attend GCC Summit in Riyadh

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed received a written message from King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, inviting the Omani leader to attend the GCC Summit in Riyadh this month.

The message on Monday was handed over by Dr. Muttalib Bin Abdullah Al Nafaisah, Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi minister conveyed to the Sultan the greetings of King Abdullah, along with his best wishes to the Omani leader and the people of Omani. The Sultan asked the minister to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Saudi King and the Saudi people.

Yusuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs and the Charge D'Affaires at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Oman were also present.
