Manama A girls' middle school was targeted in a new attack on learning institutions in Bahrain.
An education ministry statement said that "outlaws set out a fire near the fence of Aisha school".
"The fire was brought under control and the police authorities have been alerted to take the necessary measures," the ministry said.
The attack was the 26th against an elementary or middle school since the beginning of the school year in late September.
"Government schools are attacked because they are easy targets," the ministry said.
