The British Government should respond to Saudi demands to hand over wanted Saudis living in the UK to show its credibility in its calls for fighting terrorism, said Kuwait Member of Parliament Ali Al Hajri.

In a press release, Al Hajri said that the British Government had often reiterated its willingness to support their friends in the Gulf region in fighting terrorism.

On the other hand, Western countries have been harbouring people who spread the message of violence and are responsible for killing innocent people.

"Western countries even support such people socially and financially and at the same time urge Arab states to fight terrorism," said Al Hajri noting that the wisest way to end terrorism was to target the sources of such deviated concepts and the masterminds who mislead the young people and instigate them to resort to violence and killing.

Al Hajri condemned the recent attacks in Saudi Arabia that claimed the lives of several people, including foreigners, stressing that such incidents should form the basis for more cooperation between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia also called on foreign governments on Sunday to hand over Saudi dissidents it says are linked to militant attacks that have rocked the kingdom over the past year.

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal said Riyadh wanted to investigate some London-based opposition figures, two of whom it accuses of links to a shooting spree last month that killed five Westerners.
