Manama: Kuwait's social affairs and labour ministry will be in charge of the entry visas of expatriate worker in the private sector.
The decision, to be implemented on Sunday, means that the ministry will take over the role of the interior ministry that has traditionally overseen all visa procedures. However, the interior ministry will still have to approve the visas for security reasons and may refuse granting them, Kuwaiti daily Awan reported on Thursday.
