Dubai: A Bangladeshi man has been referred to Kuwaiti authorities with a request to deport him for attempting to rape a Kuwait woman of determination, Arabic daily Al Anba reported.
According to a security source, the Ministry of Interior received a call from a Kuwaiti woman stating that a strange man had entered their home and attempted to rape her disabled sister.
When the suspect, who works as a car detailer, entered the house and attempted to rape the victim, she allegedly shouted for help. Her sister called police. The suspect was later identified and arrested.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted to entering the woman’s house but did not know she was ‘disabled’. He admitted the attempted rape.
The Kuwaiti woman was asked to file a case against him but refused to do so. However, the suspect’s confession is sufficient to deport and ban him from entering the country.
