Manama: Nearly 75 percent of the crimes committed by juveniles in Kuwait are linked to divorce and other family problems, a Kuwaiti researcher has said.
According to Abbas Sabti, his findings were based on a study he recently conducted on crimes committed by youngsters in the country.
The researcher said that the crimes committed by juveniles usually increased in summer.
A senior official from the social affairs and labour ministry confirmed the finding, Kuwaiti daily Arab Times reported.
