French president to visit Bahrain after Bush

Manama: French President Nicolas Sarkozy will make an official visit to Bahrain on Tuesday, diplomatic sources told Gulf News on Friday .

The one-day trip will happen shortly after US President George Bush wraps up a historic visit to Manama, according to the sources.

Sarkozy will hold talks with King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa on broadening political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. The talks will also cover the latest developments in the region.
