Manama: A Bahraini court on Wednesday sentenced a Filipino to 15 days in prison for "encouraging moral depravation" over the internet.
According to the case documents, the Filipino displayed pictures wearing women's clothes, a wig and heavy make up to attract potential clients.
He will be deported after serving the prison term, the court said.
Soliciting and cross dressing are banned under Bahrain's laws.
