Dubai: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health has announced the detection of 384 new cases of COVID-19 amongst foreign workers and some from recent arrivals to the kingdom.
The latest cases were identified after health authorities conducted 8,829 tests yesterday.

Health officials said that 199 expatriate workers were detected with the virus in the past 24 hours, 177 others were infected from local contacts and 8 are travel-related.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that 484 patients recovered from coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 35,689 so far.
According to the ministry, there are currently 48 COVID-19 cases in critical condition, and 98 cases receiving treatment. 3,254 cases are stable out of a total of 3,302 active cases.
