Manama: The trial of five security men on charges of torturing two people to death and not reporting the case to the competent authorities was on Monday postponed to February 26.
Up to 15 lawyers showed up to defend them at the criminal court and argued that as securitymen they should be tried by a military court.
According to the case papers, two of the defendants were guilty of torturing the two victims and the other three of knowing about the death by torture and failing to report it to the competent authorities.
