A police chief in a central Philippine precinct has reportedly ordered a barber to be detained for giving him a bad haircut
Manila: A police chief in a central Philippine precinct has reportedly ordered a barber to be detained for giving him a bad haircut.
The daily Sunstar Cebu newspaper reported that Senior Inspector Mario Molinar went to the neighbourhood ‘Style Barbershop' on Friday to have his hair trimmed. The police chief was wearing casual clothes as he was off duty.
As barber Jessie Tacumba was cutting his hair, Molinar reportedly noticed that the latter was not doing a good job at styling it.
Molinar told the 32-year-old barber do his job properly, the newspaper reported. But Tacumba, instead of making up for his poor service, apparently got out his electric razor and shaved his client's head.
At this point Molinar introduced himself as a police officer and confronted the barber, the Sunstar Cebu reported. He summoned two of his subordinates and took Tacumba to the station where he was detained.
