Islamabad: A joint legal committee has been formed by the three political parties likely to form post-election coalition government in Pakistan, party sources said.

The decision was taken during a meeting held here on Wednesday by Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif and Awami National Party president Asfandyar Wali Khan.

Prominent lawyer Fakhuruddin G. Ebrahim heads the committee which would deliberate on constitutional matters pertaining to reinstatement of deposed judges and restoration of pre-November 3 judiciary, the sources said.
