Kidnapped Indian, Nepalese freed in Afghanistan

Herat: Afghan security forces freed two kidnapped workers from India and Nepal during a raid on Sunday.

Officials said the two were recovered from a cave in the Taliban-stronghold of Heart, which borders Iran.

Herat intelligence chief Habib Habib said no ransom was paid for the two, who were seized on April 21 by a criminal gang.
