Woman raped by two friends in Delhi

New Delhi: An 18-year-old woman from West Bengal was raped by two of her friends, including a juvenile, in the national capital, Delhi Police said on Saturday.

The woman, a native of New Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal, told police that Rahul, 20, and his juvenile friend lured her to their house in south Delhi’s R.K. Puram on Friday evening and raped her in turns.

The woman works with a placement agency where both the accused also work.

 Besides, both the accused belong to her native place.

A police officer said they arrested Rahul and apprehended the juvenile.

The girl said the accused threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident.

The girl came to Delhi a year ago and lives at a relative’s place.

A probe is on, the officer said.
