Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accused the Mumbai attackers of coming from another country.
In a thinly veiled accusation to neighbouring Pakistan, Mr Singh, said: "It is evident that the group which carried out the attacks is based outside the country, it came with the single-minded determination to carry out havoc in the financial capital of the country."
Speaking in a televised address to the nation, he added that he would tell their neighbours "that their territory being used to carry out attacks in India will not be tolerated."
The Prime Minister Manmohan added that the attackers were "intent on creating a sense of panic by choosing high-profile targets''.
He praised the work of the police and said the government would make sure that families affected by the attacks were taken care of.
