Mumbai: On the fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2007, the talent and creativity of the GenNext designers was overshadowed by the arrival of Bollywood's famous Khan brothers Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail to attend designer Seema Khan's show.

The Khan brothers and their mother Salma and step-mother Helen were also present to laud Seema's spring-summer 2007 collection that comprised of six new lines to mark her debut at the fashion week.

"My designs are unique simply because of their versatility and because they depend on the wearer's personality," she later told reporters.

Currently, Seema has designed all the outfits of Malaika Arora, Arbaaz's actress-wife and model for the Nach Baliye TV show. Yesterday, Malaika took to the ramp wearing Seema's short white wedding dress with a long trail.

This year's fashion week has brought 42 designers from across the country to showcase their collection at the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

The crowds that clamoured for passes in the past have dwindled as big names such as Ritu Beri, J.J. Vallaya, Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar and Tahir Tahiliani are absent.

However, one of India's top young designers, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who has already made a name in the fashion industry in the West, will present his collection at the grand finale of the fashion week.
