Beijing: A bus has fallen off a cliff in southwestern China, killing 23 people on board.

The official Xinhua news agency said that the bus was travelling from Ma'erkang County in Sichuan province to the provincial capital of Chengdu when it plummeted off a mountain road on Sunday morning.

The accident happened on a road that was undergoing repairs in Danba County in the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
