Islamic campaigner Yousuf Islam is speaking this evening on the impact that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has had on the world.
The 56-year-old, formerly known as Cat Stevens, will be speaking at the Indian High School in Dubai.
A large turnout is expected to hear Islam, who has lectured around the world on religion.
Islam was born to a Greek Cypriot father and a Swedish mother as Stephen Demetri Georgiou. He changed his name and turned his back on the world of pop music after converting to Islam in 1977.
Since then he has become a leading member of Britain's Islamic community.
His talk, entitled "Prophet Mohammad: A blessing to the entire universe", will begin at 9pm at the Shaikh Rashid auditorium of the school on Oud Metha Road, Bur Dubai. Entry is free.
