HR’s role now extends well beyond hiring, payroll and administration. Expectations around employee experience are rising, AI is changing how organisations attract, manage and retain talent, and UAE labour policies continue to shape workforce planning. At the same time, employees are placing greater value on purpose, well-being, growth and the quality of their working environment. All of this is putting HR closer to the centre of business strategy and raising the focus on workplaces where people can perform, grow and stay.

Work Reimagined UAE: The Next Era of HR, Culture & Employee Experience, presented by InsuranceMarket.ae in association with Gulf News, brings these priorities into focus on September 14 at Clubhouse, InsuranceMarket.ae HQ, Motor City, Dubai.

The event is part of a four-month leadership series jointly presented by InsuranceMarket.ae and Gulf News, with the series kicking off in September.

The forum brings together senior HR executives, chief human resources officers (CHROs), policymakers and workplace strategists to examine the decisions driving workforce strategy in the UAE. It combines senior-level discussion with practical insights that HR leaders can apply within their organisations, bringing benefits, culture, technology, talent and regulation into one conversation.

“We are living through one of the most exciting periods of change the workplace has seen. Policy frameworks are evolving, AI is unlocking new possibilities, and employees are asking thoughtful questions about purpose and well-being,” says Avinash Babur, Founder & Chairman, InsuranceMarket.ae.

“The best decisions come from shared thinking, not solo judgment. That is why events like Work Reimagined UAE matter. They give HR leaders the clarity and tools to shape the future. That is the impact we hope every session leaves behind. Practical, positive, and ready to act on,” Babur adds.

A focused agenda for HR leaders

The agenda covers some of the critical decisions now shaping workforce strategy, from employee benefits and workplace culture to AI, talent development and UAE labour priorities. The programme features keynotes and panel discussions, bringing together different perspectives on the changing role of HR, the employee experience, talent strategy and the use of technology in the workplace. Each session looks at a different part of the HR function while keeping the wider business impact in view.

The sessions are designed to give HR leaders a practical view of where people strategy is heading and how these changes are influencing business decisions.

The forum will also create opportunities for senior HR and business leaders to connect, exchange experiences and build valuable professional relationships through dedicated networking sessions.
