Dubai: The weather across the UAE will be slightly warm and humid today, according to the daily weather forecast by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Today, temperatures across the country see a gradual increase.

While morning temperatures in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other parts of the country were between 13 and 16°C, a significant rise in temperatures is expected before noon, today.

The maximum temperature in coastal areas is expected to go up to 30°C. In internal areas, temperature highs will be between 23-28°C. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 27.2°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) at 3.30pm.

The NCM said that humidity would increase by night and early morning Thursday, hitting 85 to 90 per cent in internal and coastal regions. This will cause fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas later tonight and early morning tomorrow.

The NCM added: “Light to moderate winds, freshening at times will cause blowing dust and sand at a speed of 15 – 25, reaching 35 km/hr.”

The sea will be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea
