Dubai: Residents across the country, grab your umbrellas while heading out today, as light to moderate rainfall is expected in intervals across some areas, especially over coastal and northern areas.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported continuous light rainfall across parts of the country since yesterday, March 11. Light to moderate rainfall was reported over Al Dhafra region, Al Ain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and more.

Light to moderate rainfall was also reported over Saih Al Salam in Dubai, over Mohamed Bin Zayed City and Al Ajban in Abu Dhabi, and over Al Hamidiya in Ajman.

Residents across the country can also expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies throughout the day, with a gradual decrease in temperatures.

According to the NCM forecast, temperature highs will be between 28 and 32 degree Celsius, while temperature lows will be between 18 and 22 degree Celsius.

Light to moderate winds can be expected with speeds reaching up to 35 km/hr over coastal and island regions. The north-westerly winds, which can be freshening at times may cause blowing dust across some regions.

Moderate to rough sea conditions are also expected in the Arabian Gulf.
