Thick fog envelops parts of Dubai

Weather bureau gives more details on when to expect more fog in the emirate

Dubai: Thick fog covered parts of Dubai on Saturday morning, reducing visibility on some highways and slowing down motorists.

Fog settled on key roads like Ras Al Khor Road, Al Meydan Road, Shaikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road.

The Dubai Meteorological Office said that the fog will lift by mid morning, and that the weather will be very humid for the rest of Saturday morning, becoming very warm and mostly sunny during the day.

The weather is forecast to be more humid and misty in the evening, with the risk of fog forming again overnight.

The maximum temperature is expected to reach 32 degrees Celcius, with a minimum temperature of 19 degrees Celcius.
