Al Ain: Weathermen have warned fishermen and sea-goers to stay away from the sea as strong winds have been generating stormy conditions offshore in the Arabian Gulf.

The winds have been blowing in the northwest direction especially over the sea. “The sea is rough in general,” said a forecaster. He said the conditions are also quite windy in the coastal areas and motorists also need to be alert behind the wheels on the highways passing through these areas.

Relative humidity has increased in different parts of the emirates and temperatures have been falling, increasing the chances of fog formation over some northern areas. Today morning, visibility was 2000 meters in Ras Al Khaimah. There could be foggy conditions early Monday morning in some areas.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) the atmosphere will be partly cloudy to cloudy in general and chances of rain still exist over extreme north of the country.
