Dubai: Light rain fell on parts of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman on Sunday morning, a day after rain was reported in neighbouring Al Ain.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the weather on Sunday will be partly cloudy for the rest of the morning, and will gradually become hot and hazy in general.

The NCMS also warned of rough seas and poor visibility due to towering clouds.

Sunday's maximum temperature is expected to hit 46 degrees Celsius in the inland areas, 42 degrees Celcius in the coastal areas, and 34 degrees Celcius in the mountainous areas.
