Dubai: Drivers in the UAE have been warned to take extra care on the roads on Tuesday as heavy winds may be hazardous.

Fresh south-easterly winds will be strong on Tuesday with the chance of dust, which may reduce visibility, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.

This hazy weather is expected to continue throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, especially in mountainous and inland areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night over some western areas, and sea conditions will be slight to moderate.

Temperatures will reach a high of 39 degrees during the day and a minimum of 28 degrees at night.

Commuters negotiate morning fog near Al Wasl in Dubai.
