Vehicle drive catches fire in Umm Al Quwain

Umm Al Quwain: A four-wheel-drive vehicle went up in flames in Umm Al Quwain on Monday.

The Umm Al Quwain Civil Defence operations room received a call on Monday morning reporting the car catching fire inside a garage of a house in Al Salma area of the emirate.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire that gutted the engine of the black SUV.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and quickly put out the flames with foam.
