Dubai: If you were wondering why there were no new posts on your Twitter feed this evening, you were not alone.

Since 8pm on Friday, users in the UAE had been reporting disruptions with service such as pages were not loading. By 9.32pm, the issue had been resolved.

Downdetector.ae, a website that monitors social media sites and their issues, reported that users had been messaging about problems since 8pm.

No details about what had caused the disruption are currently available.
