Two drown in manhole in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: Two Asian men drowned after falling down a manhole on Wednesday morning, police said.

Colonel Ahmad Abdul Rahman Al Bugham, Acting Director-General of Central Operations of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the victims had fallen down a four-metre deep hole.

A team was sent to rescue the men but they were already dead.

Their bodies were transferred to the hospital morgue, the case has been referred to the authorities.
