Ras Al Khaimah: An Egyptian and a Nepalese died on Friday in a traffic accident in the Al Halilah area here.
A third person, a Sri Lankan, sustained serious injuries. Hospital physicians say that his condition is 'very critical'.
A senior police officer at the RAK Traffic and Licensing Department said that the 26-year-old Egyptian identified as A.M. and the 45-year-old Nepalese identified as P.A. were officially pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The officer said that the accident occurred when a heavy vehicle and a pickup were involved in a collision.
The two vehicles were badly damaged.
The two victims were taken to the morgue of Saqr Hospital to be delivered later to their families for burial.
