Sharjah Police to auction distinguished number plates

Sharjah: The Sharjah Police will hold the distinguished vehicle number plate auction on June 4 at Al Jawaher Hall.

Number plates will be auctioned through Emirates Auction after a memorandum of understanding was signed by Sharjah Police on Thursday.

The memorandum was signed by Brigadier Saif Ziri Al Shamisi, Sharjah Police commander-in-chief, and Abdullah Mattar Al Mana’ai, chairman of the company.

The auction is being held because of the high demand from motorists for the distinguished number plates.
