Dubai: Traffic came to a halt Thursday morning on Shaikh Zayed Road after four cars were involved in a ‘fender-bender’ at the Defence Roundabout, police said.
There were no injuries, police said. The cars bumped into each other at around 9 am, just after the peak rush hour when people living in Sharjah drive down to Dubai.
Motorists said the traffic has now started to build up again on the busy Shaikh Zayed Road after schools reopened after the summer holidays.
