Dubai: Around 100 children's car seats were distributed as part of a two-week campaign to encourage motorists to use seatbelts. The campaign, organised by Dubai Police's Traffic Department, concludes today.
Brigadier Mohammad Saif Al Zafein, Director of Dubai Police's Traffic Department, said the campaign's focus was seatbelts and the importance of keeping children under 10 in the backseat of the car.
The programme included visits to schools and nurseries, holding meetings with parents and stressing the importance of teaching children traffic rules.
