Sharjah: A pedestrian bridge will be installed on Friday opposite Sahara Centre.
"The objective of installing the pedestrian bridge is to prevent hit-and-run accidents as crossing the road from undesignated areas and jumping over fence has cost many residents their lives," said Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad Bin Darwish, Head of the Anjad Department at Sharjah Police.
Al Nahda Road will be closed from 1am to 3pm in order to complete installing the new bridge that will connect Sahara Centre to Al Nahda area.
