Abu Dhabi: A total of 17 unattended cars have been impounded from the capital’s city centre, while warnings have been issued to 17 other owners of unattended vehicles, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced in a statement issued on Monday.
According to municipal laws, inspectors have the right to issue warnings to the owners of the vehicles that are left unattended. After a three-day notice period, the cars will be impounded. The municipality has urged residents to keep their cars clean to avoid paying the Dh3,000 fine, along with impound yard fees.
