Dubai: A workshop on explosives was organised by Dubai Police to train specialised officers how to tackle security threats.
Thirty one officers and members working in palaces and offices for members of the royal family participated in the workshop that was organised by the human resources rehabilitation department at Nad Al Sheba Police Centre and in coordination with the general department for the safety of authorities, establishments and emergency.
According to Major Juma Al Muhairi, an officer at Al Zabeel Palace, the purpose of the workshop was to raise the standards of the working force that deals with threats of explosives.
