Summer promotions to attract visitors and families to Dubai
Dubai: Families travelling to Dubai this summer are in for a treat as leading Dubai hotels have launched a free-stay offer with complimentary meals for children below 12 years old as part of the “Summer is Dubai” campaign.
The “Summer is Dubai” campaign, which begins on June 7 and will run until September 7, aims to attract millions of visitors and their families to the emirate. Visitors and residents will be rewarded if they check in for a minimum three-night stay at participating hotels, which will give free hotel stay to a maximum of two children under the age of 12, including complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A maximum of two children below the age of 12, accompanied by two adults, will also be given free admission at various attractions in Dubai such as the Big Bus Tours, Wild Wadi, Dubai Dolphinarium Dolphin and Seal Show, Ski Dubai, and many more.
“The objective of “Summer is Dubai” is to demonstrate to residents and visitors from around the world the extensive leisure and tourism offer of Dubai, showcasing the city as a summer destination that offers more than any comparable city in terms of the scope of its events, world-class infrastructure, hassle-free entry to the country and ease of transportation,” Helal Saeed Al Merri, Director-General, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said.
“With its air conditioned hotels, transportation facilities, shopping malls, water parks, climate-controlled indoor entertainment and even indoor skiing, the city has been designed to ensure that visitors have the most fulfilling vacation experience compared to many other summer destinations,” he added.
The launch of “Summer is Dubai” is in line with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to position Dubai as the region’s ultimate family tourism destination. The three-month campaign aims to highlight Dubai’s annual summer season including Dubai Summer Surprises and Modhesh World, one of the region’s largest indoor entertainment venues, and a number of other events.
