Sara Shurafa: Don't care, don't buy, don't use!

Last week was the first time I heard or got to know about a credit shield. It's not because my banker didn't tell me about it, it's because I don't care about anything that is related to credit cards.

I don't believe in credit cards, for me it's a simple "spend what you have".

The whole credit cards issue for me represents insecurity and instability, no matter what anyone would tell me about it, it just doesn't make sense. At the end of the day it's debt with interest.

Debt makes me sleepless; I know that if I get a credit card I will be worrying all the time to pay it back, so why should I get my self into that state.

And who will guarantee that I will be able to control my self, or put boundaries on spending. All that reminds me of an Arabic saying form our culture that's says 'Don't sleep between the graves. And you will not get bad dreams'.

The other issue I have with credit cards is related to a conspiracy theory; my question is why does anyone need to loan me large sums of money, if they don't expect something big in return … that return has to be money that would be, indeed, more than what they gave me. So, why should I? Again If I don't have it I don't need it.

So with the credit shield, or without the shield I just don't believe in these services, which for me are just traps and a headache I prefer not wasting my self on.
