Sakhr, an Arabic IT solutions developer, has recently entered into collaboration with Microsoft and Intel to integrate its Arabic language solutions with the latest platforms.
"We are delighted by the growing interest shown by several leading global IT players in partnering with us to integrate our Arabic solutions on their platforms," said Fahad Al Sharekh, business development director, Al Alamiah Group.
"Intel was the first to run our solutions on its platforms, and since then we have been negotiating with other industry leaders, including Microsoft, for similar tie-ups. We are in discussion for optimum ways for collaboration and integration."
Al Sharekh said: "Sakhr has become a main complementor to the ICT industry, and international IT players have begun to look at us as a major business partner for reaching the Arabic speaking world.
"This is because the peculiarities of the Arabic language make it difficult to adopt English solutions. It therefore becomes essential to partner with native Arabic software developers."
He added that the alliances will be beneficial mostly for the end user because of the combined expertise.
