Road works to be done on Al Intifada Street in Sharjah

Move will mark phase one of project to build two new lanes on busy Sharjah street

Sharjah: The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has announced that maintenance work will begin on Al Intifada Street between Al Majaz two and three from November 12 to 28.

The work will take place on Al Intifada Street in the direction of Al Khan Street and Buhaira Corniche Road.

The move will mark phase one of a project to build two new lanes, 7.3 metres wide, which will stretch along 590 metres.

The authority calls on motorists to cooperate with any inconvenience that may be caused during this period.

Work under way on construction of the flyover bridge at National Paints roundabout.Completion of the third phase, costing around Dh350 million, is planned for the end of thisyear.
