Residents get a dose of the macabre

I have clicked and sent several photographs to Gulf News that relate to environmental issues.

This particular photograph was taken a few weeks ago, in Al Bahiya area in Abu Dhabi, which is known for its greenery and farms. It is located near Shahama.

The public throw garbage and dead animals here, about 10 metres away from the main road and residential area, where more than 200 families live.

A cow's carcass has been on this roadside for more than two months.

I urge the authorities to look into the situation at the earliest.
